The D.A.R. reports were designed to show management what the patrol officer is doing and are pretty
generic in format, if there was something important to report, an incident report would be filled
out by the officer and management would get one too so there is no need for exact detail in these
reports.
Also when a patrol officer is doing his route, he is making a detailed "Patrol Report" for every property he visits, that is why we use "canned messages" or pre written lines generally describing the actions of the patrol officer during his patrol route. By doing this, your patrol officer is able to inform management of his actions with minimal effort and not take up any more time than is needed for him to do his job correctly.
We have entered many generic actions in this area but every one of them can be deleted and replaced as you see fit, if there is a new action that needs to be added, you would do that here too.
